In yesterday’s post we looked at Canon lens nomenclature. Today here are Fujinon’s.
Note that similar to Canon the lens model’s prefix describes the intended camera imager size and the resolution the lens may be appropriate for, then comes the multiplier factor which (when compounded with the lens’ wide focal length) computes the lens’ telephoto focal length (e.g.: 99×8 = 792mm).
